The Chapel is a historic venue located in the Mission District of San Francisco. Originally built in 1914 as a mortuary, it operated as such until the mid-1990s. It was subsequently renovated and reopened as a performance space in 1998. The building retains many of its original architectural features, including stained glass windows and ornate detailing, creating a unique atmosphere for events. Known for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics, The Chapel hosts a diverse range of performances encompassing music, theater, dance, and film. It's capacity is approximately 650 people standing or 450 seated.
