Vadym Kholodenko, a Ukrainian classical pianist renowned for his intensely passionate and technically brilliant performances, will be appearing in concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on October 17, 2026. Kholodenko’s playing is often described as possessing a remarkable depth of colour and a powerful dynamic range, frequently noted for interpretations of Romantic composers alongside contemporary works. He gained international recognition after winning the Gold Medal at the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall, located on the South Bank in London, is a prominent concert venue and part of the Southbank Centre. Opened in 1967, it was designed by Hubert Bennett and forms a significant example of Brutalist architecture. The hall is known for its excellent acoustics and has hosted performances by numerous internationally acclaimed musicians across various genres, including classical music, jazz, and contemporary dance. It underwent a major refurbishment completed in 2018, enhancing both audience facilities and technical capabilities while retaining its original character.
