Utopia, the French collective centered around Hervé Cordovil, will perform at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris on November 6, 2026. Utopia’s music blends elements of French variété, electronic music, and contemporary classical composition. Their sound is characterized by complex arrangements, layered vocals often employing vocal harmonies, and a melancholic yet hopeful atmosphere. The group gained prominence with their self-titled debut album in 2020 and has since released *The Ghost Parade* (2023), receiving critical acclaim for their innovative approach to songwriting and production.

The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées holds a significant place in Parisian cultural history. Opened in 1913, it was conceived as a venue dedicated to showcasing new artistic movements – particularly in music and dance – challenging the conventions of existing opera houses and concert halls. Its Art Deco architecture is notable, and it quickly became associated with groundbreaking performances, notably Igor Stravinsky’s *The Rite of Spring* whose premiere there caused a near riot.
