Uniform is a New York City-based band creating music generally categorized as industrial, power electronics, and noise rock. Their sound incorporates elements of harsh textures, driving rhythms, and often features spoken word or shouted vocals exploring themes of societal decay, control, and psychological distress. Formed in 2014, the group has released several albums on labels like Sacred Bones Records and has toured extensively internationally.

The Marquis Theater in Denver, Colorado, originally opened as a movie palace in 1912, known then as the Empire Theatre. Over its history, it transitioned through various uses including a burlesque house and a legitimate theatre space. In more recent decades, it operated primarily as a live music venue hosting diverse acts across genres. The building underwent significant renovations in 2018 following a fire that caused substantial damage. Currently, The Marquis Theater maintains a capacity of approximately 750 attendees and is recognized for its intimate setting and historical architectural details. It continues to function as a prominent independent music venue within Denver’s cultural landscape, frequently featuring both established and emerging artists.
