SASAMI, the musical project of Shelby Sandoval, will perform at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado on July 23, 2026. Sandoval’s music blends elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and indie rock, often incorporating layered instrumentation including guitars, synthesizers, and her classically trained vocals. Her work frequently explores themes of vulnerability, faith, and personal experience with a distinct atmospheric quality. Prior to her solo work as SASAMI, Sandoval was a touring member of Cherry Glazerr and a session musician. She released her debut self-titled album in 2020 followed by *You Know I Love You* in 2023.

The Ogden Theatre opened in 1913 as a silent film house and vaudeville venue. Over its history it transitioned through various uses including a mainstream movie theatre and a roller rink before becoming dedicated to live music performance in the late 1980s. The venue is known for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics; it has a standing-room capacity of approximately 1,600 people. Its architecture retains much of its original early 20th-century ornamentation.
