Truls Mørk, a Norwegian cellist internationally recognized for his deeply expressive and technically assured performances, will appear in concert at Maison de la Radio et de la Musique – Auditorium in Paris on October 9, 2026. Mørk’s playing is often described as possessing a rich tonal palette and a compelling emotional depth, frequently focusing on the Romantic and contemporary repertoire, though he performs works across several periods. He is known for both solo recitals and chamber music collaborations.

Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, often referred to simply as “La Maison”, is the broadcasting headquarters of Radio France and a significant concert venue in Paris. The Auditorium, its primary performance space, opened in 1995 and was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. It’s renowned for its exceptional acoustics, achieved through adjustable elements within the hall allowing optimization for various ensemble sizes and musical styles.

The building itself replaced the older Théâtre des Champs-Élysées as the principal venue for Radio France’s musical activities. It hosts a diverse range of performances including orchestral concerts (featuring Radio France’s resident orchestras), chamber music, and contemporary music events.
