Troy Andrews, known professionally as Trombone Shorty, is scheduled to perform at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont on July 22, 2026. Andrews is a contemporary jazz and funk musician rooted in New Orleans music traditions. His style blends elements of jazz, soul, funk, rock, hip-hop and R&B, often featuring virtuosic trombone playing alongside vocals and songwriting. He gained recognition starting as a bandleader at a young age within New Orleans’ brass band scene and has since released several critically acclaimed albums.

The Shelburne Museum is an accredited, non-profit museum located in Shelburne, Vermont. Founded in 1947 by Electra Havemeyer Webb, it is notable for its unconventional presentation of American art and design. Rather than traditional gallery spaces, the museum showcases its collections within a village-like setting comprised of over 39 historic buildings relocated to the site. These structures range from a lighthouse and a steamboat Ticonderoga to a general store and homes – each building themed to display related artifacts.
