Tracey Thorn is a British singer, songwriter and academic known for her distinctive vocals and intimate lyrical style. Initially gaining prominence as one half of the synth-pop duo Everything But The Girl alongside Ben Watt, her solo work explores themes of memory, relationships, and everyday life, often characterized by jazz-influenced arrangements and a sophisticated, melancholic tone.
