Timur Zangiev is a Russian-born pianist recognized for his interpretations of Romantic and contemporary classical music, often noted for a deeply expressive and technically virtuosic style. His repertoire encompasses composers such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Prokofiev, alongside works by modern composers. He gained international recognition after winning the International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015.

The concert on December 31st, 2026 will take place at Halle Aux Grains in Toulouse, France. This venue holds significant cultural importance within the city. Originally constructed in 1932, it was designed in an Art Deco style by architect Jean-Louis Gentil. Initially built as a grain market – hence its name, translating to “Grain Hall” – it was repurposed in 1988 as a major performance space following extensive renovations.

Halle Aux Grains primarily hosts classical music concerts, but also accommodates other performing arts events like dance and theatre. The hall is known for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere despite its relatively large capacity of approximately 1200 seats.
