He gained international acclaim following his Deutsche Jazzpreis award in 1993 and has released numerous albums showcasing both his instrumental prowess and distinctive vocals. The concert will take place at Heinrich-Lades-Halle in Erlangen, Germany. This multi-purpose venue opened in 1962 and has since become a significant cultural hub for the city. Originally designed to host a variety of events including trade fairs, concerts, and sporting competitions, it underwent extensive modernization between 2018 and 2020. The renovation focused on improving acoustics, accessibility, and technical capabilities while preserving the building’s architectural character.
