Originally constructed in 1926 as a movie theatre – initially named the Riviera Theatre – it operated as a cinema for several decades. Following periods of disuse and redevelopment, it reopened in 2018 as a dedicated live music space focusing on showcasing both local and touring artists. The venue retains much of its original Art Deco architectural detailing, creating an intimate atmosphere for performances. It’s known for its excellent acoustics and commitment to supporting a diverse range of musical genres beyond just folk or Americana acts. The capacity is approximately 250 people.
