The Necks are scheduled to perform at The Stoller Hall in Manchester on September 8th, 2026. The Australian instrumental trio is known for their deeply immersive and largely improvised music, often described as ambient, minimalist, and drawing from jazz, drone, and experimental rock influences. The band has been active since 1987 and maintains a dedicated international following despite limited traditional promotion.

The Stoller Hall opened in November 2015 as a concert hall within the Federation of Hollands and South Manchester synagogues complex. It was established following a significant donation from the Stoller family, philanthropists with strong ties to Manchester’s Jewish community and a history of supporting the arts. The hall was designed by architects SimpsonHaugh and acousticians Arup to provide exceptional acoustics for a variety of musical genres. It boasts a 500-seat auditorium and is quickly become recognised as a prominent venue for classical music, jazz, and contemporary performances within the city’s cultural landscape. The hall aims to be accessible to all audiences while maintaining a commitment to artistic excellence.
