The Mountain Goats are scheduled to perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on July 10, 2026. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a naturally formed, open-air venue constructed into the Trading Post Rock formations near Morrison. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966, the site has a history stretching back centuries; indigenous peoples utilized the area for gatherings long before its use as a performance space. Formal concerts began in 1906 with a burlesque show and boxing match. The venue underwent significant improvements in the 1940s transforming it into the amphitheater known today. Its unique acoustics stem from the surrounding rock formations which naturally amplify sound.
