DeVotchKa is scheduled to perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on July 13, 2026. The band is known for its unique musical style often described as “gypsy punk,” incorporating elements of Eastern European folk music, mariachi, and post-punk influences. Instrumentation frequently includes the theremin, accordion, trumpet, and double bass, creating a cinematic and emotionally resonant sound. Formed in Denver in the late 1990s, DeVotchKa gained prominence through their soundtrack work, notably contributing to the score of the 2006 film *Little Miss Sunshine*.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air venue built into the naturally occurring, dramatic red sandstone geological formations of the Front Range mountains. Construction by the Civilian Conservation Corps began in 1936 and was completed in 1941. The venue is renowned for its acoustics and stunning visual setting. Prior to becoming a dedicated concert venue, Red Rocks hosted events ranging from boxing matches to religious gatherings. Its capacity is approximately 9,525 people. The site is listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and as a National Landmark due to its historical and geological significance.
