The Jive Aces are scheduled to perform at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, United Kingdom on September 6, 2026. The band is known for their energetic performances of swing, jump blues, and rockabilly music, often incorporating influences from the 1950s. The Wales Millennium Centre opened in January 2004 as part of the Cardiff Bay regeneration project. Designed by architectural practice Percy Thomas Partnership, it is a prominent landmark building constructed from Welsh limestone and glass. The Centre functions as a major arts venue, hosting a diverse programme including opera, ballet, theatre, music performances – both contemporary and classical – and exhibitions.

It is home to the Wales Millennium Centre’s resident companies: Welsh National Opera, Ballet Cymru, National Dance Company Wales and Tŷ Cerdd (Music Centre Wales). The building contains multiple performance spaces including Donald Gordon Theatre which has a capacity of approximately 1,900 seats and the smaller Weston Studio. Its construction was partially funded by the Millennium Commission and Arts Council of Wales.
