The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform at the Spire Center for the Performing Arts in Plymouth, Massachusetts on August 18, 2026. The Glenn Miller Orchestra is renowned for its performances of classic big band swing and jazz music popularized during the 1930s and 1940s. Founded by Glenn Miller in 1938, the orchestra achieved widespread fame with hits like “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” and “Pennsylvania 6-5000.” Following Miller’s disappearance in 1944, the orchestra was reorganized and has continued to tour under various leaderships, maintaining his musical legacy.

The Spire Center for the Performing Arts is a non-profit arts organization located in a renovated 1920s building originally constructed as a Masonic Temple. Opened as a performance venue in 2014, it serves Plymouth County and surrounding areas, hosting a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, and community gatherings. The building features a main theatre space seating approximately 350 people alongside smaller studio spaces used for classes and rehearsals.
