Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 11, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those of the 1920s-1950s. Their arrangements frequently incorporate jazz, swing, blues, ragtime and doo-wop influences, offering a contrasting sonic landscape to the original recordings. The group gained prominence through viral videos on YouTube beginning in 2009 and has since released numerous albums and toured extensively.

The State Theatre originally opened in 1925 as a movie palace and vaudeville house designed by Liebenberg & Kaplan. Originally named the Metropolitan Theatre, it was quickly renamed the State. Throughout its history, it hosted a variety of performances including film screenings, stage shows and concerts. The theatre underwent significant restoration work in the 1970s and again in 2016, preserving many of its original architectural details including ornate plasterwork and a grand lobby.
