Experience The Glenn Miller Orchestra live on December 1st
The Glenn Miller Orchestra is scheduled to perform at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 1st, 2026. The orchestra is renowned for its performances of classic big band jazz from the 1930s and 40s, characterized by a distinctive sound featuring clarinet-led melodies, smooth vocal harmonies, and a prominent brass section. Originally led by trombonist and composer Glenn Miller, the orchestra achieved widespread popularity during the Swing Era with hits like “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” and “Pennsylvania 6-5000.” Following Miller’s disappearance in 1944, the orchestra was reconstituted and continues to tour internationally, maintaining the original arrangements and style.
The Pantages Theatre originally opened in 1911 as the Airdome, an open-air venue for vaudeville shows. It underwent significant renovations and was renamed the Pantages in 1914 by Alexander Pantages as part of his expanding theatre circuit.
