Blossom Music Center, situated in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland, Ohio, is a primarily open-air venue celebrated for its acoustics and natural setting. Opened in 1968, it was specifically designed in collaboration with the orchestra to provide an accessible summer home for performances. The venue’s shell structure was notably designed by Pietro Bellushi and significantly renovated in 2017 to further enhance sound projection and audience experience. Blossom's design intentionally integrates the surrounding parkland into the concert experience, offering a unique atmosphere for classical music presentations. It represents a significant part of Northeast Ohio's cultural landscape and hosts numerous events throughout the summer season beyond performances by The Cleveland Orchestra.
