Experience The Carice Singers live on November 20th
The Carice Singers will perform at Kings Place, London on November 20, 2026. The ensemble is known for its performance of Renaissance polyphony, particularly the complex and expressive works of composers such as William Byrd, Tomás Luis de Victoria, and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina. They also frequently explore 20th and 21st-century choral music, often commissioning new pieces and showcasing lesser-known composers alongside established figures. The group is recognized for its precise intonation, blend, and historically informed performance practice.
Kings Place is a concert hall and art centre located on York Way in King’s Cross, London. Opened in 2008, it was developed from the former Connaught Telephone Exchange building – a significant example of Art Deco architecture dating back to the 1930s. The building's original façade was carefully preserved during the renovation. Kings Place houses two main performance spaces: Hall One, with a capacity of around 420 seats and designed for classical music performances; and Hall Two, a more flexible space suitable for a variety of events including chamber music, jazz, and spoken word. It is also home to radio stations Classic FM and Jazz FM.
