The Budos Band will perform at Atomic Pavilion in St. Louis, Missouri on August 2nd, 2026. The Budos Band is a ten-piece instrumental ensemble originating from Staten Island, New York City. Their music is generally categorized as Afro-soul, combining elements of Ethiopian jazz, funk, and psychedelic rock. Formed in 2005, the band is known for its energetic live performances and distinctive sound built around a horn section – trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and percussion. They’ve released several albums on the Daptone Records label, gaining recognition within the contemporary instrumental music scene.

Atomic Pavilion is an outdoor music venue located within Tower Grove Park in St. Louis. Originally constructed in 1913 as a bathhouse and pavilion offering recreational facilities, it underwent significant restoration completed in 2023. The renovation aimed to revitalize the historic structure while adapting it for modern use as a performance space. It now hosts a variety of events including concerts and community gatherings. The pavilion's design incorporates Art Deco influences characteristic of its original era and provides a unique setting for musical presentations within the park's landscape.
