The Body will be performing at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas on August 1st, 2026. The Body is an American experimental metal band formed in Wilmington, Delaware in 2007. Their music blends elements of doom metal, noise, industrial, and hardcore punk, often characterized by heavily distorted guitars, intensely emotive vocals – frequently incorporating both screams and clean singing – and explorations of dark lyrical themes. They are known for their dynamic range, shifting between crushing heaviness and moments of stark minimalism. The band has released numerous albums on labels including Neurot Recordings and Sargent House, collaborating with artists such as Thou and Full of Hell.

White Oak Music Hall is a multi-room live music venue located in the Second Ward neighborhood of Houston. Opened in 2015, it features both indoor and outdoor stages. The complex consists of three distinct spaces: the large capacity White Oak Hall (primarily for national touring acts), the mid-sized Music Hall (a covered, open-air stage), and the more intimate Beer Garden stage. The venue is recognized for its commitment to showcasing a diverse range of musical genres and its role in Houston’s growing independent music scene.
