Their music blends elements of doom metal, noise, industrial, and drone, often incorporating unconventional song structures and emotionally intense vocal performances. Lyrical themes frequently explore themes of trauma, grief, and existentialism. The band has released numerous albums on labels including Profound Lore Records and Thrill Jockey.

The Urban Lounge is a long-standing independent music venue located in Salt Lake City’s Granary District. Established in 1999, it has become known for hosting a diverse range of national and local touring acts spanning genres like indie rock, punk, metal, electronic music and hip-hop. The venue is characterized by its intimate setting and focus on supporting emerging artists alongside more established names. It's a standing-room-only space with a capacity of approximately 350 people.
