Their music is often described as a fusion of doom metal, noise, and industrial elements, frequently incorporating harsh vocals and emotionally intense lyrical themes. They are known for their dynamic range, shifting between crushing heaviness and moments of quiet fragility. Throughout their career, The Body has collaborated with numerous artists across diverse genres including Thou, Full of Hell, and Kristin Hayter (Lingua Ignota).
