The Body, a duo comprised of Chip King and Lee Buford, will perform at St. Stephen-In-The-Fields in Toronto, Canada on July 11, 2026. Their music is often described as a blend of doom metal, noise, and industrial elements, characterized by heavily distorted instrumentation, intensely emotional vocals – frequently utilizing both screams and clean singing – and explorations of themes relating to trauma, faith, and the human condition. The band has been active since 1999, releasing albums through labels like Hydra Head Records and Neurosis’s own label, Neurot Recordings.

St. Stephen-In-The-Fields is an Anglican church located in the Kensington Market neighbourhood of Toronto. Constructed between 1868 and 1873, it’s recognized for its Gothic Revival architecture and historical significance as one of the city’s oldest churches. Beyond traditional religious services, St. Stephen-In-The-Fields has a long history of community engagement and increasingly hosts diverse cultural events including musical performances.
