The Body will perform at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York on August 8, 2026. The Body is an American experimental metal band formed in Wilmington, Delaware in 2007. Their music blends elements of doom metal, noise, industrial, and hardcore punk, often characterized by intensely heavy and atmospheric soundscapes, screamed vocals, and explorations of themes relating to trauma, religion, and existentialism. They are known for their dynamic range, shifting between crushing distortion and moments of quiet fragility. The band has released numerous albums on labels including Neurot Recordings and Thrill Jockey, collaborating with artists such as Thou and Full of Hell.

Music Hall of Williamsburg opened in 2009 and is a prominent independent music venue located in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. It’s known for its relatively intimate capacity of approximately 550 standing or 750 seated attendees. The venue is owned by Bowery Presents and consistently hosts a diverse range of nationally and internationally touring acts spanning indie rock, alternative, electronic, hip-hop and heavier genres. Its stage setup provides good sightlines throughout the space. The building itself previously functioned as a VFW hall before being renovated into a performance space.
