TENET Vocal Artists will perform at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New York City on March 4, 2027. TENET specializes in historically informed performance of early music, primarily focusing on vocal repertoire from the medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. The ensemble is known for its commitment to scholarly research alongside expressive artistry, often performing works alongside original instrumentation and exploring lesser-known composers.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, located on Central Park West, holds significant architectural and historical importance. Completed in 1958, the church building was designed by McKim, Mead & White – a prominent American architectural firm responsible for numerous landmark structures including sections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Pennsylvania Station. The church’s design reflects a neo-Gothic style with a focus on natural light and acoustic properties suitable for musical performance. It houses a substantial pipe organ built by Flentrop Orgelbouw, renowned for its historically accurate construction based on Dutch Baroque models. The congregation itself traces its roots back to the mid-19th century with earlier worship spaces predating the current building. The church regularly hosts concerts featuring diverse musical ensembles.
