Teenage Fanclub is a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, in 1989. Their music is often characterized by melodic guitar work, layered harmonies, and a blend of influences ranging from 1960s pop and The Byrds to American indie rock like Dinosaur Jr. and Hüsker Dü. Throughout their career, they’ve released critically acclaimed albums such as *Bandwagonesque* (1991) and *Grand Prix* (1994), becoming influential figures within the indie scene. Kuivi Pop Up is a relatively new venue located in Oviedo, Spain, specializing in hosting intimate concerts and cultural events. Established in 2023, it operates as a temporary space utilizing repurposed or underutilized buildings within the city – hence the “Pop Up” designation. It quickly gained recognition for its focus on showcasing both established international acts and emerging artists across various genres, prioritizing quality sound and an engaging atmosphere for attendees.
