LSO St Luke’s is a former church, originally St Luke’s Old Street, meticulously restored and now functioning as a performance space for the London Symphony Orchestra and other artists. Completed in 1733 by Nicholas Hawksmoor, it served as a parish church for over two centuries before suffering significant bomb damage during World War II. The building underwent a comprehensive restoration project completed in 1995, transforming it into an acoustically renowned venue.

The space is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics, stemming from its unique architectural design and careful restoration work. It provides an intimate setting for chamber music and smaller orchestral performances, differing significantly from the larger Barbican Centre which is also used by the LSO. LSO St Luke’s also serves as a community hub offering educational programs and workshops alongside its concert schedule.
