Islington Assembly Hall is a historic venue located in Upper Street, Islington, London. Originally built in 1888 as a public hall for community events, it underwent periods as a cinema and then a bingo hall before being refurbished and reopening as a live music venue in 2016. The building retains many of its original architectural features, including ornate plasterwork and a high ceiling, creating an intimate yet grand atmosphere.

The hall has a capacity of approximately 800 standing or 500 seated, hosting performances across various genres including indie rock, electronic music, and jazz. It’s known for its good acoustics and relatively flat floor plan which enhances visibility for attendees.
