Zirkus Krone München holds a significant place in German circus history. Founded in 1905 by Carl Krone, it is one of Europe’s largest and most traditional circuses. Originally a travelling circus, it established a permanent winter base in Munich in 1919. The current Krone Circus building, constructed in 1984, is notable for being a year-round venue capable of hosting a wide range of events beyond traditional circus performances – including concerts and shows requiring substantial space and adaptable staging.
