Sunbörn is a Dutch musical project spearheaded by Sjoerd van Bommel, known for its distinctive blend of melodic death metal and symphonic elements. The music frequently incorporates themes relating to nature, mythology, and existentialism, often featuring layered instrumentation including prominent use of keyboards and orchestral arrangements alongside traditional metal instruments. Previous releases have explored conceptual narratives delivered through complex song structures and emotive vocals.

Dynamo is a renowned live music venue located in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Originally established in 1993 as a haven for heavier music genres – initially focusing on hardcore punk and metal – it has since broadened its scope to host a diverse range of acts while retaining its core identity. The venue is situated within the larger Dynamo complex which also houses rehearsal spaces and a music school. It’s historically significant as a key location in the Dutch alternative music scene, having hosted numerous internationally recognized artists across various subgenres. Dynamo underwent a significant renovation and relocation within Eindhoven in 2014, resulting in an increased capacity and improved facilities while maintaining its intimate concert atmosphere. Sunbörn is scheduled to perform at Dynamo on September 16th, 2026.
