Espen Eriksen Trio is a Norwegian musical group known for its atmospheric and subtly evolving improvisational jazz. The Verkadefabriek in 's-Hertogenbosch is a former chocolate factory, originally built in 1891 by the Verkade company. It operated as a chocolate factory until 1967. Subsequently, the building underwent a significant transformation into a cultural center, opening in its current form in 2002. Today, it functions as a multidisciplinary arts venue hosting theatre productions, concerts, dance performances, exhibitions and film screenings. The building retains much of its original industrial architecture alongside modern additions. It's recognized for its unique ambiance stemming from this blend of historical factory elements and contemporary artistic programming. The venue offers multiple spaces suited to various performance types.
