STRFKR is scheduled to perform at the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 10, 2026. The band, originally formed as a solo project by Joshua Pontius, generally creates music categorized as indie pop and electronic, often incorporating elements of dream pop and synth-pop. Their sound is characterized by layered synthesizers, melodic vocals, and frequently explores themes of existentialism and longing. Over time, STRFKR evolved into a multi-member band known for energetic live performances.

The Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre (formerly PNC Music Pavilion) is an outdoor venue located in Charlotte’s University City area. Opened in 1991, it underwent significant renovations completed in 2022 which included updated seating, expanded concourses and improved accessibility features. The amphitheater has a capacity of approximately 23,000, including both reserved seating and a sizable lawn area. It's owned and operated by Live Nation and hosts a variety of national touring acts across multiple genres throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons. The venue is situated near UNC Charlotte and is designed to accommodate large-scale concerts and events.
