Sparta, the post-hardcore band originating from Austin, Texas, will be performing at Willemeen in Arnhem, Netherlands on October 18, 2026. Initially active from 2001 to 2010, Sparta reformed in 2018 and continues to perform material from their acclaimed albums like *Wiretap* and *Porcelain*, alongside newer compositions. Willemeen is a cultural venue located within the historic Eusebius Church in Arnhem. The church itself dates back to the 15th century but suffered significant damage during World War II; reconstruction continued until 1973. Willemeen opened as an events space in 2019, repurposing the nave of the church into a versatile area for concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. The venue is noted for its unique acoustics resulting from the building’s architecture and its commitment to showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions within a historically significant setting.
