Sparta will be performing at The Dome, London on October 13, 2026. The band, originally formed in 2001 from the remnants of post-hardcore band At the Drive-In, is generally categorized as post-hardcore and alternative rock. Their sound incorporates elements of progressive rock and emotive vocals, often characterized by dynamic shifts between quiet verses and intense, driving choruses. Sparta released their debut album *Artemis* in 2002 to critical acclaim and have since released several further albums including *Porcelain* (2004) and *Threes* (2006). The band went on indefinite hiatus in 2010 before reuniting for occasional performances in recent years.

The Dome, officially known as the O2 Dome and currently branded as The O2 Arena, is a large multi-purpose indoor arena located in Greenwich, London. Opened in 2007, it was built on the site of the former Millennium Dome, a large exhibition centre constructed to mark the turn of the millennium. The structure is notable for its distinctive tent-like roof supported by twelve yellow pylons.
