Peggy’s Skylight is a relatively new jazz club and bar located in Nottingham city centre, opening in 2022. It occupies the former Flying Horse Walk building, a historic structure dating back to the 19th century which underwent significant refurbishment to create the venue. The space is designed to evoke the atmosphere of mid-century modern jazz clubs, with a focus on providing an intimate listening experience. It aims to be a dedicated space for live jazz and related genres, showcasing both established and emerging artists. The venue’s name pays homage to Peggy Seeger, a prominent folk musician and activist with connections to the region through her family history. It has quickly become recognised as an important addition to Nottingham's cultural landscape.
