Soho Saints Brass Band emerged from the vibrant London music scene in 2017, quickly gaining recognition for their energetic and distinctly British take on New Orleans-style brass band music. Founded by trumpeter Sam Barnes, the group blends traditional second-line rhythms with influences from jazz, funk, and UK bass music.

Initially busking and playing small club gigs, Soho Saints rapidly built a dedicated following through relentless touring across the UK and Europe. Their self-released debut EP, *London Calling* (2018), showcased their raw energy and tight arrangements. They’ve since supported acts like Fatoumata Diawara and Nubiyan Twist, demonstrating their versatility as a support act.

The band's sound is characterized by powerful horn lines, driving percussion, and often features original compositions alongside reimagined covers. Notably, they’ve become festival regulars, performing at events such as Boomtown Fair and Wilderness Festival. Their commitment to live performance and infectious energy has solidified their reputation as one of the UK’s leading brass bands, consistently delivering high-octane shows celebrated for audience participation and improvisation.
