Sirintip, a Thai-born, New York-based artist, will be performing at Pier I in New York City on July 16, 2026. Her musical style blends elements of Thai classical music with contemporary electronic and pop influences, often incorporating traditional instruments alongside synthesizers and modern production techniques. Critics have described her sound as atmospheric and emotionally resonant, drawing comparisons to artists like Björk and SZA while maintaining a distinctly individual character rooted in her cultural heritage. Pier I is a historic pier located in Hudson River Park, Manhattan. Originally constructed in 1909 as part of the Chelsea Piers complex, it served primarily as a shipping and transportation hub for passengers and goods – notably playing a role in immigration during the early 20th century. Over time, its function shifted from industrial to recreational; undergoing significant redevelopment in the late 1990s. Today, Pier I features public spaces including sports facilities, event spaces and landscaped areas offering views of the Hudson River. It is managed by the Hudson River Park Trust and hosts a variety of public programs and performances throughout the year.
