The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will perform at Victoria Concert Hall on April 2, 2027. Victoria Concert Hall holds significant historical and cultural importance in Singapore. Originally built in 1905 as the Victoria Memorial Hall, it was constructed to commemorate Queen Victoria. The building served multiple purposes including public meetings and performances before being dedicated primarily to musical events. A major restoration completed in 2014 modernized the hall’s acoustics and facilities while preserving its architectural heritage. The hall is celebrated for its elegant neo-classical design and its intimate performance space, making it a favoured venue for classical music concerts and other cultural events within Singapore. It currently houses both the main concert hall and the smaller Victoria Theatre.
