Experience Singapore Symphony Orchestra live on April 16th

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay on April 16, 2027. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is recognized as a leading orchestra in the region, performing a broad repertoire encompassing classical masterpieces, contemporary works, and cross-genre collaborations. Established in 1979, the SSO is known for its technical proficiency and artistic interpretation, frequently touring internationally and collaborating with renowned soloists. Its musical style generally adheres to traditional orchestral performance practices while embracing innovative programming.

The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, often referred to simply as the Esplanade, opened in October 2005. It is a performing arts centre located on the waterfront of Marina Bay. Designed by Michael Wilford and James Stirling, the building’s distinctive dome-shaped roof is inspired by the durian fruit and jackfruit. The complex features a Concert Hall seating approximately 1,600 people and a Theatre seating around 2,000, alongside an outdoor theatre space.
