The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay on March 12, 2027. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is recognized as one of the leading orchestras in Southeast Asia. The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, commonly known as the Esplanade, opened in October 2002. Its design, inspired by the durian fruit and orchids, has become an iconic feature of the Marina Bay waterfront. It functions as a performing arts centre featuring multiple venues including the Concert Hall – where the SSO will perform – and the Theatre. Beyond hosting performances, the Esplanade actively supports artistic development through workshops and outreach initiatives.
