The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore on November 6, 2026. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra is recognized for its versatile repertoire, encompassing both standard orchestral works from the Western classical canon and contemporary compositions, often including pieces by Asian composers. Established in 1979, the orchestra frequently collaborates with international soloists and conductors, and is a key component of Singapore’s performing arts landscape.

The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, commonly known as the ‘Durian’ due to its distinctive architectural design, opened in October 2002. It serves as Singapore’s national performing arts centre, hosting a wide range of events including classical music concerts, dance performances, theatre productions and more. The complex comprises a Concert Hall seating approximately 1,800 patrons and a Theatre with a capacity of around 1,600. Beyond these main venues, it features outdoor spaces used for free performances and community events. The Esplanade was conceived as part of Singapore's vision to be a vibrant cultural hub and has become a landmark destination for both locals and tourists. Its construction involved extensive land reclamation along Marina Bay.
