Albert Hall is a historic venue in Manchester originally built in 1910 as a Wesleyan Methodist Central Hall. Designed by architects Briggs, Worthington & Arnold, it was intended as a meeting place and concert hall for the Methodist community. Following a period of disuse and potential demolition in the 1980s, the building was rescued and underwent extensive restoration in the early 2010s, reopening as a fully-fledged music venue in 2013. The hall retains many original architectural features including its ornate ceiling and stained-glass windows while being equipped with modern sound and lighting systems.
