Shelly Berg is a pianist and composer recognized for her distinctive blend of jazz, classical, and Brazilian influences. Her musical style often features intricate harmonies, rhythmic complexity, and a lyrical melodic sensibility, drawing on both improvisational techniques and formal compositional structures. She has released several albums as a leader and has collaborated with numerous prominent musicians across genres. Berg also holds a distinguished position as Executive Director of the Jazz Studies program at the University of Miami Frost School of Music.
