She & Him is the musical duo consisting of actress Zooey Deschanel and musician M. Ward. Their music is generally characterized as a blend of indie pop, vintage sounds reminiscent of 1960s girl groups, and elements of folk and jazz. Formed in 2006, the duo has released five studio albums to date, known for their close vocal harmonies and retro aesthetic.

The Wilbur Theatre, the venue for their September 24th, 2026 performance, is a historic performing arts center located in Boston’s Theatre District. Originally opened in 1910 as the Loews Theatre, it was designed by architect Clarence H. Blackall, who also worked on Boston’s Symphony Hall. The venue underwent significant renovations in the early 2010s, restoring many of its original architectural details while modernizing its facilities.

Throughout its history, The Wilbur has hosted a diverse range of performances including vaudeville acts, films during its early years as a movie palace, and now primarily live music concerts, comedy shows, and theatrical productions.
