Shai Maestro is a globally recognized pianist known for his deeply expressive and lyrical interpretations of jazz standards and original compositions. His style blends influences from Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett with a distinctly personal voice, characterized by introspective improvisation, harmonic sophistication, and a delicate touch. He frequently performs solo and with his trio, exploring themes of memory, emotion, and storytelling through music.

The concert will take place at Fort Sainte-Agathe, located in Hyères, France. Originally constructed in the 16th century by Charles Quint as part of a network of coastal defenses against Barbary pirates, the fort underwent significant modifications during the reign of Louis XIV under the direction of Vauban. It served a military purpose until the early 20th century.

Today, Fort Sainte-Agathe is a historical monument undergoing restoration and is increasingly utilized as a cultural venue. Its unique architecture – featuring robust stone walls and panoramic views of the Giens peninsula and Porquerolles islands – provides an atmospheric setting for artistic performances.
