Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be performing at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin on November 5, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs – spanning genres like pop, rock, R&B, and hip-hop – in vintage styles. These reinterpretations frequently employ musical aesthetics from the 1920s-1950s, including jazz, swing, doo-wop, and blues arrangements. Bradlee founded the project in 2009, initially as a YouTube channel showcasing these unique covers; it has since grown into a globally touring act with a rotating collective of talented musicians.

The Orpheum Theatre originally opened in 1927 as a vaudeville and movie palace. Designed by the architectural firm of Rapp & Rapp in an atmospheric Moorish Revival style, it was a significant entertainment venue for Madison during its early years. After periods of decline and closure in the late 20th century, the theatre underwent extensive renovations completed in 2011. The restored Orpheum now functions as a performing arts center hosting a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical productions and comedy shows.
