Jazz Concerts in Munhall

Experience Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox live on November 1st

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the Carnegie Library of Homestead in Munhall, Pennsylvania on November 1, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those of the 1920s-1950s – including jazz, swing, doo-wop, and ragtime. Bradlee founded the project in 2009, initially as a YouTube channel, gaining significant popularity through its unique arrangements and consistently released covers. The group frequently features a rotating collective of musicians.

The Carnegie Library of Homestead is a historically significant building constructed in 1908 with funding from Andrew Carnegie. It was intended to serve as a public library and recreational hub for the workers of the nearby Carnegie Steel Company’s Edgar Thomson Works. Beyond its library function, the building originally housed a music hall, swimming pool, gymnasium, and bowling alley – reflecting Carnegie’s belief in providing cultural and educational opportunities for working-class communities.

Today, the building operates as a multi-purpose arts and cultural center while still maintaining library services.
