SASAMI, the musical project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, will be performing at Ojai Deer Lodge on July 31, 2026. Her music blends elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative rock, often incorporating orchestral arrangements and introspective lyrical themes. Previous releases have been noted for their exploration of vulnerability and faith, contrasted with distorted instrumentation. She initially gained recognition as a guitarist for Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers before releasing her self-titled debut album in 2021.

Ojai Deer Lodge is a historic venue located in Ojai, California. Originally established in the 1930s, it functioned as a secluded retreat favored by artists, writers, and spiritual seekers. The property features rustic cabins and a central lodge building set within a wooded area. Throughout its history, it has hosted numerous performances and events emphasizing intimate settings and connection with nature. It’s known for its unique acoustics stemming from its open-air design and surrounding landscape. The lodge underwent renovations in recent years while retaining much of its original character and ambiance. It continues to operate as both an event space and lodging facility.
